Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Jigawa state command, have arrested a young man for allegedly raping primary school boys in the state.
In a press statement by the state’s Commandant announcing the arrest, Mr. Muhammed Gidado said the suspect who was identified as Sule (surname withheld) resided at Jigawar Tsada in Dutse Local Government Area of the state and allegedly lured his under-aged victims with N20 before raping them.
The suspect was arrested after he raped an eight-year-old boy (name withheld) of the same area.
The suspect is said to have committed the crime severally, giving his victims N20 as a token,” the NSCDC boss stated.
An interim medical report from Rashid Shekoni Specialist Hospital, Dutse, confirmed the penetration of the little boy.
The suspect confessed committing the crime during preliminary investigations on the matter, adding that he was introduced to the act (homosexuality) by his fellow students, Usman and Aliyu and three others, who used him and gave him N100 as a token.
