Renowned religious cleric and United Nations Ambassador, His Grace Most Revered Professor Daddy Hezekiah (MFR) has commended the Nigeria Medical Association and the Federal Government for suspending their 55 days nationwide industrial action embarked upon by Doctors.
In his statement the man of God expressed his happiness stating that he was glad with the actions taken by the two parties to come to terms because if the strike action was prolonged the poor and indigent ones in the society will suffer the pain greatly. Therefore, he appealed to the Federal Government and the Nigeria Medical Association to find a lasting solution to put an end to the constant industrial actions they embark on, rather let them ensure there won’t be future occurrences of similar nature, stressing that during the period of the strike many lives were lost, further, he also appealed to doctors to join hands and ensure the poor masses were given medical attention now some deadly diseases and illnesses are rampaging the world.

It will be recalled that the Nigerian Medical Association had on July 1, 2014 embarked on a total strike following expiration of a two weeks ultimatum given to the Nigerian government to meet its 24-point demand.
