In this inaugural edition of Civil Rights International hall of fame, our celebrity profile for the month of January, 2014 goes to a religious cleric who has for long condemned gay/homosexual marriage as well as advocating for a just society.
He maintains a scholarship foundation which at every point in time has more than 500 recipients at all levels of the education ladder including bachelors, masters and PH.D.
He pays hospital bills in hundreds of thousands of naira for the sick; court cases are sponsored for the innocent poor.
His numerous donations include helping Muslims to rebuild their burned mosque in Anambra State. He donated 20,000 dollars to the Israeli government following persistent terrorist attacks as well as 30,000 dollars to the U.S following the 9/11 attacks of 2001.
He is a professor and an Industrial Chemist from the University of Lusaka, Zambia with various degrees in Business Management, Accounting and Statistics.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour in 1967 and between 1975 and 1979 he was the Chairman University of Zambia Christian Fellowship, the first foreign student to hold the post and the only person as of then to hold it in the final year. In 1979, he was invited to the State House by the then Zambian president, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda to pray for him and the members of his cabinet which he did.
He has bagged many National and International awards totalling about 2000 which include the prestigious Member of the Order of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria (MFR), Lion of the tribe of Igbo, The Noble father of the Nigerian Youth (NFNY), Member American Biographical Institute, North Carolina, USA etc.
He is the Patron of many national and International organizations.
He is the proprietor of Living Christ Nursery/ Primary schools in Nigeria.
He has almost completed building the proposed Hezekiah University Umudi, Imo State which is awaiting the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
He is the Founder and Leader of Living Christ Mission which was incorporated in 1985.
His church headquarters in Onitisha, Anambra State, Nigeria is a 75,000 sitting capacity edifice that on a closer look could suffice to be in the Guinness Book of Record for biggest single structure interwoven/joined with other structures and occupying a land space big enough to accommodate an entire street.
He hails from Umugara in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria.
