Shameless American Gay Bishop Divorces Partner

66-year-old American gay bishop Gene Robinson, has announced he is divorcing his partner barely few years into their unholy union.

Gene Robinson, the first openly gay bishop in the US Episcopal Church announced yesterday that he would be divorcing Mark Andrew (25 years) whom he married in a civil ceremony in 2008 after divorcing his wife who had two children for him in 1985.

Writing on the Daily Beast, Bishop Robinson said he was “forever grateful” to Mark Andrew and that details of their split were private.

Gene Robinson was ordained as Bishop of the New Hampshire diocese in 2003 despite overwhelming protests by Christians all over the world that gay marriage contradicts the constitution of all Christians which is the Bible.

In the US, hundreds of parishes broke away from the Episcopal Church – the US branch of Anglicanism – in protest, forming a new Anglican Church in North America.

Bishop Robinson, who retired in 2013, mused about his escapade in a letter describing it as love that can endure, even when a marriage cannot.

It will be recalled that renowned religious cleric His Grace Most Revered Professor Daddy Hezekiah (MFR) had reminded Christians a fortnight ago of the need and importance of those in leadership to always stand bold and condemn homosexuality.

Professor Hezekiah said this at the occasion of his adopted daughter’s birthday Princess Chukwunazaekpere Hezekiah. He quoted (in his earlier preaching) relevant sections of the Christian Holy Book to buttress this assertion such as Leviticus 18: 22-23, Leviticus 20:13, 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 as well as Romans 1:22, 26-28

“Claiming to be wise, they became fools, For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct”.
