PLAN TO CEDE WEST BANK FROM ISRAEL TO PALESTINE, FUNDAMENTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
The United Nations, European Union – EU, League of Arab Nations, Democrats, CNN, Aljazeera, BBC and other bodies planning to cede West Bank back to Palestine are beckoned upon to desist from such irrational, sentimental and hate-filled act. The statement suggesting that by July 2020 West Bank will be ceded to the Palestine is absolutely an overstatement, fundamentally unacceptable and completely aberrative in nature. Such odious and nihilistic statement was made out of venom, bitterness and anchor of loathe by enemies and haters of Israel.
Israel is expected to carry out the annexation on July 1, 2020 as agreed between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and head of Blue and White party, בני גנץ – Benny Gantz; but the controversies these international bodies are emanating are biased and hold on violent hatred for the nation of Israel. For instance, the UN’s special Middle East envoy Nickolay E. MLADENOV on Thursday, April 23, 2020 said a move by Israel to annex West Bank would be a “devastating blow” to the internationally-backed two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as the EU said annexing Palestinian territory “would constitute a serious violation of international law”.’ These and many more contradicting statements and plans are made in order not to recognize Israeli sovereignty over West Bank.
These international bodies should leave Israel alone and also note that West Bank from inception is a legitimate Jewish city of Israel. It is home to Bethlehem the birth place of Jesus Christ and also burial site of notable Jewish figures including Abraham, Jacob and Joseph. It’s therefore unbecoming for the United Nations or anyone to expect Israel to cede a land with its great significant empirical heritage to Palestine. It’s indisputable and completely incontrovertible that Israel are the legitimate owners of West Bank; hence it is not negotiable for Israel not to annex West Bank because history has it that the “West Bank” was the name given to the territory that was captured by Jordan in the aftermath of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, and subsequently annexed in 1950, until 1967 when it was captured by Israel during the 1967 Six-Day Mideast war. Since then, more than 700,000 Israelis have moved into settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. It is unfortunate that most international communities consider Israel’s West Bank settlements illegal according to international law and an obstacle to a two-state solution to the conflict.
These intentional communities should face realities and objectivity. For instance, what about Russia’s conquest and annexation of several cities in the world including Ukraine from which Crimea was annexed in 2014? What about Tibet which was annexed by China in 1950? What have these bodies done about them and several other instances? All were under the nose of these bodies making them hypocrites. They should therefore mind whatever they are doing or saying against Israel, America and other cities of the world.
The nation of Israel is being commended and encouraged for harmonizing a very fertile and appreciable ground of peace. Also, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu is commended for his unrelenting efforts to make Israel stand against all odds.
Furthermore, Israelis should and ought to note and appreciate PM Benjamin Netanyahu for his good works because he has done a lot for them and has contributed and sacrificed enormously to ensure that the Arabs do not take over the nation of Israel. Therefore, he deserves commendation even though he is not perfect. It is worthy of note to the great Israelis that a little mistake on his part ought not to be blown out of proportion by Israel as the enemy is outside not inside. Such mistakes ought to be negligible and should not be counted against him to the point of attempting to impeach him. It is quite unfair, a total display of immodesty and dishonesty indeed.
