The religious persecution in China is one that calls for immediate action. Of particular concern is the continuous detention of Pastor Wang Yi who faces 15 years imprisonment on grounds of his choice to be a Christian. It’s high time the international community send a clear message to the Chinese authorities that this impunity cannot continue. You cannot brutalize and dehumanize a fellow human being simply because he chose to practice a religion distinct from yours. The UN Fundamental Human Rights Charter of 1948 ascribes the right to freedom of religion on all humans. China must be called to order! #FreedomOfReligion #FreePastorWang
